Nationally recognized expert, educator, and keynote speaker on the topics of Social Isolation and Loneliness, Positive Aging, and Technology for the Aging Population, Maureen Feldman has devoted her life to the pursuit and practice of health, wellness, creativity, and living to one’s fullest potential at any age.
Maureen Feldman is a trusted program designer, consultant, educator, facilitator, and coach specializing in positive aging, social connectivity, and family caregiver support.
Maureen has developed and launched nationally recognized programs to support older adults and family caregivers, especially those caring for a loved one with memory impairment, focusing on resilience, social connectedness, and overall well-being. She has created tailored curricula for older adult learners, empowering them with knowledge and skills to thrive. Her work has brought her to partnerships with esteemed organizations such as the AARP Foundation, the Los Angeles Department of Mental Health, the Los Angeles Department of Public Health, the Los Angeles Department of Aging and Disabilities, the University of California, Davis, the Motion Picture Television Fund, Dignity Health, Providence Hospital, the Los Angeles LGBTQ Center, the USC Caregiver Resource Center, UCLA, CSLB, the American Parkinson’s Disease Association, the National Village Movement, Keiro, and L.A.211, among others.
A recognized expert in her field, Maureen has worked with local communities and public entities to raise awareness of the negative impacts of social isolation and loneliness. Her community advocacy work further underscores her dedication to improving the lives of older adults and caregivers. In 2021, she was honored with the Los Angeles Alliance for Community Health and Aging Innovation Award for her significant contributions to aging-related initiatives in the community.
As a keynote speaker, published researcher, curriculum designer, and coach, Maureen is dedicated to helping individuals and organizations navigate the complexities of aging and caregiving with empathy, knowledge, and purpose.
With a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology, a master’s degree in psychology with an emphasis on communication, and certifications in clinical hypnotherapy, stress management, and online teaching, Maureen brings a holistic and practical approach to her work. A former family caregiver herself, she understands firsthand the unique challenges caregivers face, including the importance of self-care and identity preservation.
In addition to her work with organizations, Maureen provides one-on-one coaching, incorporating her expertise to help individuals age well, find purpose, and navigate the many challenges of aging, including caregiving responsibilities.
